Mummification
The Ancient Egyptians are very well known for there special embalming process, called mummification. It is a process that helped preserve the dead. There are many steps which had to go in a certain order. What is the process? Let's see by using an apple.
1. Put the apples in individual 12 oz. plastic cups We cannot remove unnecessary organs so in this step we are just setting up. 2. Pour 1/3 cup of baking soda in one of the cups. Put 2/3 salt in another one. In this step and the step after we dehydrate the corpse. 3. Place cups on shelve in direct sun-light and wait 7 days 4. Wrap your pieces with masking tape and draw on little faces on them with a sharpie In the final step we wrap the corpse in bandages and give it a "mask" So lets see....did u catch that? I even said the steps as we dd them! First we remove unnecessary organs. Then we dehydrate the corpse and in the third step is that we set them out in the sunlight. Finally we decorate because they need to look they're best for the afterlife. Got it? Good. |
